Contest has been in operation since 1984,
although we have experienced some name and personnel changes
over the years. The long term goal has been to become a
leading service provider
in the field of concrete technology and testing.
This goal has been achieved, not only
in KwaZulu-Natal but also outside the Province as well as in neighbouring
states. The company has developed the capability to provide
superior technical services within budget and time frames
when required.
This ability has ensured the acquisition
of a loyal client base as we also continue to attract new
clientele as a result of our reputation.
SANAS ACCREDITATION
We have pleasure in advising all
our clients that Contest is working towards SANAS Accreditation
Rod Raw has joined the company and has
the necessary qualifications, training and experience to
competently complete this task.
Rod has attended and passed the necessary
SANAS training courses and has assisted a number of laboratories
with documenting, implementing and maintaining the system
and technical requirements of the International Standard
(ISO 17025) for accreditation.
Rod holds a B Tech Degree in Civil Engineering
to go with his many years of experience in the Construction
and Civil Engineering testing laboratory industry.
Testing done at Contest is carried
out according to the relevant test methods and standards
and Contest has full confidence in its test results.
